This weekend was a busy one, which means Monday feels like Wednesday of the work week but with no new weekend in sight. But it was productive and I'm happy I got to spend some time with some important people in my life.
Saturday was bike riding for Tour de Bosque with my La Sassy and Huevos Rancheros at Mannies!
This photo was taking a few years back but it's one of my favorites
Saturday was completed with Beers on the porch with Pato and us finally booking our vacation to Portland, Oregon . We are super excited to see friends, explore Portland and the Oregon Coast, and of course enjoy some well deserved R&R.
I wrapped up the weekend with some quality time with Pato sanding and sealing our friend Allen's deck. It was hot out, but the beauty of the deck made it all worth it. I want one in our backyard now! :-)
We wrapped up the weekend with dinner at my parents house for Father's day. Happy Father's day to all the hardworking dad's out there.
Yes, I have major world cup fever.
This sort of fever has symptoms of me screaming in the workplace break room and running around with my arms outstretched when my teams score. So far my three main teams have performed really well.

I hope everyone has an amazing weekend! It will be a busy one for me, but it will be a lot of fun!!
Last night I went to karaoke at Blackbird Buvette and met up with a few amigos and happily got to see Alanna from downiforgot blogspot who was passing through town on her way to LA. She ended up performing the best version of Runaround Sue that I'm sure I'll ever see in my life. I'm glad I got off my ass and went out to witness the hilarity that ensued.
Mike Ruiz decided to take a break from his busy pride schedule and take a tour of our agency today. He is a very sweet guy and even did a benefit on our behalf last night that was very successful. It was an honor to meet him and we were so grateful to have him visit and help out our agency!
This is a video of my "little" cousin Mitchell playing lead guitar in his middle school talent show. Not only is he a bad ass rockin guitar player but he is not so little anymore. He will be heading to high school next year and I can't believe how fast time has gone by! Oh well, a rock star is born!
My cousin is the guitar player on the left! Rock on!!
